Des hunt
Des hunt was born in Palmerston North 1941 29th of December. When he was young he went Terrace End School, North Intermediate then went to North Boys High School.
Then he moved to Hawera at the age of 23. When he moved he started teaching when he was 23 at Hawera High School. Hawera was where he met his wife Lynne, and where their two kids were born, Keri and Neville.
Des, Lynne and their two kids moved to Papakura in 1971. Then he went to teach at Rosehill College. He started his writing career in 1973. After 44 years of teaching he retired in 2007.

Term three goals
Reading: my reading goal is to improve my reading out loud and read slower and more fluent.
Writing: my writing goals is to focus on tidy writing and focus on one idea each paragraph.
Maths: My math goal is to work on my fractions and percentages. I will do it by doing studyladder.

The Matariki stars shine ,way up above
They glide like a dove with great morning love,
They are so bright
They give you a fright
They are so high they are in the sky.
